Ingredients
Makes 3 Dozen:

• 3/4 CUP JIFF CREAMY PEANUT BUTTER
  
• 1/2 CUP CRISCO ALL-VEGETABLE SHORTENING
  
• 1 1/4 CUPS FIRMLY PACKED LIGHT BROWN SUGAR
  
• 3 TBSP. MILK
  
• 1 TBSP. VANILLA
  
• 1 EGG
  
• 1 3/4 CUPS ALL-PURPOSE FLOUR
  
• 3/4 TSP. SALT
  
• 3/4 TSP. BAKING SODA

1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. Combine peanut butter, shortening, brown sugar, milk, and vanilla in a mixing bowl.
   
2. Beat on medium speed with an electric mixer. Then add egg, then flour, salt, and baking soda. Mix until blended.
   
3. Drop 2 inches apart by heaping teaspoons onto a baking sheet. Use a fork and press a crisscross pattern in cookies. Bake for 8 minutes and cool on a wire rack.
