- 3/4 CUP JIFF CREAMY PEANUT BUTTER
- 1/2 CUP CRISCO ALL-VEGETABLE SHORTENING
- 1 1/4 CUPS FIRMLY PACKED LIGHT BROWN SUGAR
- 3 TBSP. MILK
- 1 TBSP. VANILLA
- 1 EGG
- 1 3/4 CUPS ALL-PURPOSE FLOUR
- 3/4 TSP. SALT
- 3/4 TSP. BAKING SODA
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. Combine peanut butter, shortening, brown sugar, milk, and vanilla in a mixing bowl.
- Beat on medium speed with an electric mixer. Then add egg, then flour, salt, and baking soda. Mix until blended.
- Drop 2 inches apart by heaping teaspoons onto a baking sheet. Use a fork and press a crisscross pattern in cookies. Bake for 8 minutes and cool on a wire rack.
