Georgia Sweet Tea

3 FAMILY SIZE TETLEY TEA BAGS
WATER
1 1/3 CUP GRANULATED SUGAR PLUS
2 TBSP. GRANULATED SUGAR
PLAIN OLD CLEAN MILK JUG
FOR LOWER SUGAR USE 2/3 CUP SUGAR
In a medium saucepan add water until it is half full. Add tea bags and put on stovetop. Bring to a boil on medium/high heat. Boil tea for 3-4 minutes. Let it set on stove for 15 minutes.
Now my favorite thing to use is a gallon jug. Like a milk jug. Take jug put it in sink. Use a funnel and add sugar to jug.
Pour boiled tea through funnel into jug over sugar. Add water to top minus 1 1/2 inch.
Place lid on jug. Turn jug upside down and shake very well until all sugar is melted.
Put in refrigerator overnight. Do not serve until the next day. If you need to serve it quickly the best you can do is put it in freezer for 4 hours. Do not forget about it! “Enjoy in a glass of ice! I make a couple gallons a week!” Tammy

Tammy's Fruit Sweet Tea Recipe

​Fruit-Flavored Sweet Tea
3 FAMILY-SIZED BLACK TEA BAGS
1 BAG FLAVORED TEA (your preference) 1 CUP SUGAR

Bring 4 cups of water to a boil. Once boiling, add tea bags and boil for one minute. Turn off the 
heat and let the tea bags continue to steep for several more minutes. Remove tea bags, then add 1 
cup sugar and mix until dissolved. Pour into a 1-gallon pitcher and add  water  to  fill-line.  
Chill  overnight  before serving. Add additional sugar if desired.
