Ingredients
Note: You may not use all of the cream!
- 2 cups self-rising flour
- 2/3 - 3/4 cup heavy whipping cream
Note: You may not use all of the cream!
- Place flour in a medium-sized bowl.
- Add whipping cream a little at a time until all flour is incorporated into a dough. The mix should be thick and not wet.
- Use sifter with self-rising flour to flour counter surface. Place dough on top of floured surface and sift more flour on top of dough.
- Use your hands to turn the dough 7-10 times, folding it over and over.
- Pat to height of biscuit cutter (3/4-1" thick) and cut out biscuits into a well-greased pan.
- Bake at 450 until golden brown (approximately 20 minutes).
- Flip biscuits upside down when removing from oven to prevent the bottoms from sweating.
- Serve!
